Amazing couple! When I first met Erick and Ivette, Ivette had a broken foot. I politely asked how it happened… Erick and Ivette looked at each other, with big smiles on their faces Ivette blurted out “He did it!” Erick follow with… “but it was an accident!” Apparently there was some tickling/wrestling and so how someone’s foot got broken! I instantly knew that these two were just like Michael and I. We rough house and tease each other incessantly. It is part of our dance!

I loved getting to know Erick and Ivette through the entire engagement, wedding and album process. These are great people – they both work for the same nonprofit and were surrounded by their family and church family on their wedding day. It was truly a celebration of love and commitment. Ivette was stunning in her mermaid silhouette dress.

The wedding ceremony and reception was held at Happy Trails Catering on Fair Oaks just a couple of blocks from Old Town Pasadena. The unassuming store front to Happy Trails hides an incredible garden in the back. Guests enter through a large wooden gate to the side. And don’t get me started on the food! Katherine Black does a wonderful job catering the event. While the guests were enjoying cocktails we slipped away with Erick and Ivette to Pasadena City Hall for some romantic images!
